Happy March! It’s my birthday month and with proceeds earned sales after a recent closet cleanout, I treated myself to this beauty from Paper Republic. I’m on a journaling kick and becoming more of a pen and paper person. For several weeks I’ve been admiring this brand’s minimalist, sleek aesthetic known for their quality paper and leather products. Such a lovely gift to myself. Because the journal is so sleek and professional looking, I plan to use for work along with a paper planner. As I mentioned in previous posts, there’s something about putting pen to paper that has helped sharpen my recall ability and to take better notes during meetings.

It goes without saying, that one does not need to purchase a leather cover. An inexpensive spiral or composition notebook works fine for journaling and notetaking. In fact, the pocket-sized notebook I use for on-the-go, is from Daiso and is under $3. It’s made with quality, durable paper.
