As much as I enjoy the holidays and picking out gifts for friends and loved ones, I can get overwhelmed and anxious about overspending. Whether saving for retirement, or avoiding credit card debt, or on a tight budget, the pressure to overspend during the holidays can feel immense. Having cut back on my spending this year, I’ve saved for holiday gift giving, but I don’t plan on going beyond my budget. If you’re also taking a similar approach, here’s a list of gifts under $50.

Ok, admittedly, this has been on my wish list for awhile so I’ve been dropping hints to my family. Anything that encourages me to bring my own lunch to work and make use of leftovers and save a few coin, I’m in!
